This year I had the pleasure to attend the
2003 Mt. Clemens Gratiot Car Cruise in beautiful Downtown Mt. Clemens, Michigan.
The event took place on Saturday August 9, 2003 it was a hot sunny day and a
great time was had by all.The Gratiot
Car Cruise has been a tradition for years as hundreds of Classic Cars
flood into Downtown Mt. Clemens for the weekend long event. At the
Gratiot Car Cruise spectators can expect to see every type of
customized car possible. You can see all of your favorite Classic
Cars, Chevy's, Fords, and Chryslers restored and customized into the
ultimate Dream Cars as well as Roadsters and Antique Cars. Several
local race teams were there with their Race Cars on display
transforming Downtown Mt. Clemens into the ultimate Free Car Show.
The Car Cruise fun doesn't stop there as most of
the local Mt. Clemens Restaurants and Retail Shops participate in the
event and offer discounts and coupons for the event. And when
attending the Gratiot Car Cruise every seat is a good seat, bring your
lawn chair and pick a spot as you watch an endless parade of Custom
Cars Cruzin Gratiot.
