Hello my name is Beth and I am a recovering crack and
heroin user. It all started about 5 years ago when I use to play in a
band. I would drink, get high, sleep around, prostitute. One night after
playing out, I got a phone call saying my friend had died of a heroin over
dose. I cried and cried. I have been sober for about 3 years and 4 months
now. This is just a brief experience of what I had gone through. I quit
using after my friend had over dosed. Like the songs says "Needle and the
damage done" is so true. Brothers and sisters; you are in my prayers.
