NA and AA is not for everyone, some people recover from
drugs and alcohol abuse without the aid of the NA or NA program and lead a
completely normal life. Bottom line is that if it works, don't change it,
as long as you are leading a productive lifestyle
and it works for you then go for it.

NA AA Recovery Zone
Hello
my name is Todd Wm. Gibson,
I am 8
years free from crack cocaine. Whatever works is what is needed. For me, I
found 12 steps hopeless. After 1000’s of meetings and numerous sponsors
and being told I can NEVER get rid of this “addiction” and I will carry it
around for the rest of my life and NEED and MUST have these meetings in
order to “arrest” or keep it in check, I have proven that me not being
able to stop smoking crack cocaine is not a disease and no DATA supports
that outside theory and medically backed insurance 28 day programs.
Just
from that statement I am guessing this will not get posted. I stopped my
madness trusting God’s word which says we can extinguish ALL flaming darts
from the enemy with faith in God’s word especially in Ephesians 6:10-20
and Romans 7:14-20. We complicate this “addiction” so much and NEVER give
hope to be who God intended us to be and that is NOT smoking crack, plain
and simple. The revolving doors of recovery and relapse got sickening to
me. I set out to find a true way to freedom and found it. So can you. If
12 steps work for you and life is manageable, great never miss a meeting
so you don’t relapse. True and complete freedom from this demonic
substance is yours and is promised in printed words of powerful healing
truths called scripture.
No
where in ANY “fellowship” traditions or language or literature does it
EVER mention scripture, and that is not just “the way” of words that
works, it is divine and commanded. So if we want to go against God’s word
that we CAN have COMPLETE freedom from “any dart of the enemy” and
continue to hold ALL addicts hostage is the belief system that you will
NEVER rid yourself from “this dart” and in order to find your “manageable
life” you MUST accept and practice all the steps and traditions in all of
our affairs, as the way to deal with this so called “disease”, that is
great if it works for you. Be careful about that next relapse around the
corner though. If in FACT you want freedom, take a giant leap of faith
away from a program that keeps you addicted to the addictive steps and
will have you bound up for life unless you continue to attend the groups
and meeting and making those calls. Instead find freedom in God’s
promises.
I am
living proof this is pure truth and not some guy not smoking crack
anymore. Do you want more evidence of this? Here is my phone number
616-827-9362 (EST) call me and let us talk. Typically I get calls bashing
my truth that you do not know yet, but that is OK at least it is a start.
There! That is my story, the truth and the way to complete freedom
forever, not just for 24 hours!
